10 Days in Hong Kong
Posted in South East Asia, China, Hong Kong
My time in Hong Kong has almost come to an end. Tomorrow afternoon I will get back on the A21 bus to the airport to catch my flight to Bangkok, Thailand. I have done a lot of touristy things while in Hong Kong. I have been to the Avenue of the Stars to see the spectacular light show at 8pm every night where the buildings are lit with coloured lights and Lazer beams. I have been on the Peak Tram to the peak on Hong Kong Island to see the views over the city during the day and the evening. I visited the many Markets in Kaloon including the Goldfish, Flower, Bird, Ladies, Temple Street, Jade and Night markets. I have been to see the pandas and ride the cable car in Ocean World and visited the world largest bronze seated Buddha and the Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island. Finally I also visited Hong Kong Disneyland and spent the day seeing the shows, watching the parades and going on the rides.
I am about ready to leave tomorrow. I think 10 days has been enough to see most of the main parts of the city and I am ready to go on to Bangkok tomorrow.
